A client approached Bono Hair with a request for a lightweight, breathable, and salon-friendly hair system tailored specifically for women experiencing hair thinning or partial hair loss. They needed a solution that would provide seamless coverage and volume in the crown and frontal area, while also allowing the wearer’s natural hair to be integrated into the system. The client emphasized the importance of comfort during hot weather and requested a unit that would feel natural while still offering sufficient density and fullness. Additionally, the client wanted to replicate the base size and specifications of an older hairpiece previously used.
The Solution
Bono Hair developed a fully customized mesh integration hair system—BWN23552—designed specifically to meet the client's needs. This system blends breathable construction with realistic visual appeal, featuring a PU top for added realism and a single PE line mesh base to support integration with the wearer’s natural hair. While the PE mesh offers excellent ventilation and allows for hair-pull-through installation, it requires professional handling by trained salon technicians for optimal results. A ribbon edge sealing enhances durability and helps secure the system in place during daily wear. Chinese virgin hair was selected for its premium softness, color receptiveness, and longevity.
The Customized Hair Color
To achieve a natural yet eye-catching result, the client chose a dual-tone color scheme: a rich #4 medium brown base with #613 platinum blonde spot highlights. This subtle contrast created a dimensional, voluminous effect while maintaining a seamless blend with the client’s own hair. Bono Hair’s technicians hand-blended the shades using low-temperature dyeing techniques to preserve the hair’s softness and integrity.
The Customized Hair Length
The unit was made with 18-inch Chinese virgin hair, offering ideal coverage and styling flexibility. This length provides volume in the crown and front areas while maintaining a manageable and graceful profile. The 4.0 cm curl pattern added soft waves, giving the hair system natural bounce and flow.
The Customized Size
The base was constructed using measurements from the client’s previous hair system, ensuring a personalized and snug fit that followed the contours of the scalp. This custom size guaranteed better integration with the wearer’s natural hair and stable adhesion around the perimeter.
The Customized Base
The PU top section offers a realistic scalp look and supports medium-density volume where needed. The remainder of the base is constructed from a single PE line mesh, featuring large, flexible openings for manual hair integration by salon professionals. This mesh base is extremely breathable and lightweight, ideal for warm climates or extended wear. The ribbon perimeter not only adds reinforcement but also enhances comfort and secure placement throughout the day.
The Special Requirements
This was a fully customized order designed to replicate the size and style of the client’s previous integration piece. Although private labeling wasn’t required, the system was delivered without any branding, allowing for seamless client-side resale. Bono Hair ensured every detail—from hair color to base structure—was aligned with the customer’s expectations, making reorders simple and consistent.
