The Challenge
A repeat client approached Bono Hair with a specific request for a custom women’s wig for their end-user who preferred long, natural-looking hair. The customer required a natural front hairline, durability for daily wear, and easy maintenance. The wig needed to match the user's existing long hair in both length and color, which included a special root-to-tip two-tone color design. Additionally, the client provided a detailed head template with precise base material markings to ensure the design aligned with the end-user’s scalp coverage and desired look.
The Solution
Bono Hair custom-produced the BWN45552 lace front wig, a fully hand-tied unit designed for exceptional realism and comfort. Unlike ordinary wigs, this hand-knotted construction offers more natural hair movement, better breathability, and a lighter feel—ideal for daily wear. The base combines monofilament in the center, skin gauze around the perimeter for easy tape use, and a French lace front for a seamless hairline. The team followed the client’s detailed template to ensure a precise and professional fit.
The Customized Hair Color
To match the end-user’s real hair, the wig was crafted with a root-to-tip two-tone color. The first inch from the root featured color #2, transitioning seamlessly into color #4 for the remaining hair length. This color blend gave the unit a realistic gradient effect, mimicking natural regrowth. Bono Hair’s skilled color technicians blended the shades with attention to tone accuracy and consistency to enhance wearability.
The Customized Hair Length
The client requested a 22-inch finished hair length to reflect the natural length of the wearer’s hair. We selected Chinese virgin hair, known for its strength and smoothness, capable of holding long lengths without tangling or shedding. The hair was processed straight with a natural flow, providing an elegant appearance with minimal daily styling required.
The Customized Size
A custom head template was submitted by the client, with different color markings indicating the area placements for monofilament, skin gauze, and lace front. This approach enabled our factory technicians to cut and construct the base exactly to the required specifications, ensuring a perfect fit for the wearer.
The Customized Base
The monofilament center offers a breathable and durable structure, ideal for women who wear wigs daily. The skin gauze perimeter enhances tape adhesion and simplifies cleanup during maintenance. At the front hairline, a French lace front was integrated to provide a delicate and natural finish, particularly when the hair is styled off the face. This combination delivers both functionality and aesthetics.
The Special Requirements
This wig was a repeat order for the same end-user, and as such, precision and consistency were essential. Though private labeling was not required, the client expected a fast turnaround and flexibility in shipping options. Bono Hair offered delivery choices including weekly batch shipping or single-unit dispatch. The production time for this monofilament wig was approximately 8–10 weeks, followed by 3–5 business days for delivery.
